2022 Kentucky Longshot Plays
#6 (8/1) will have the earliest first fraction but he was beaten by #12 (12/1) Taiba. But both of these horses last raced at Santa Anita (California) and have no workouts at the eastern tracks. West coast horses have won the Derby before but they still had one or more workouts at some eastern track especially Churchill Downs.
#1 (10/1) Mo Donegal has great Best Last Par and Best Speed Rating and has beaten one of the favorites #10 Zandon (3/1) before but the fractions were dismal.
So I will definitely place #12 and #1 with #3 Epicenter (7/2) for exotics (exacta/trifecta)
I have placed my analysis on a website like in previous years. I have included the Past Performances which have been reformated in the order of SPEED POINTS and with HORSE FRACTIONAL TIMES represented as INCREMENTAL QUARTER TIMES.

So you have to like Late Pace when looking at the Kentucky Derby and of course keying the favorite #3 Epicenter both in WIN and PLACE positions with the leading Late Pace Contendors. As the picture shows doing so would have resulted in an exacta and even a trifecta combination!
