Rank: NewbieI know it’s Saturday and that gets more traffic, but I would never subscribe with the site being this slow to load… Yep cleared the cache.. You need to do something to fix this issue.

Rank: NewbieNot sure why its slow. I do not have any issues with site speed. What location are you in?
We did some site maintenance around the time you posted this and was clearing the caches. That could explain it. We are not as fast as we want, but I often test it and we rank better then most. We got more to do in the performance and will continue to improve things.
Thanks,
Michael -

Rank: NewbieIf you’d like even better performance, I suggest you go into your browser and install the Web App. It should give you an Icon on the desktop when its installed and it will work better with the browser caching to present pages quickly.
We have a few more things to do to improve the site. We have not had the performance as a Priority as the site loads reasonably fast and we want to include more features. I will discuss your concern with Liam and see if we should set the performance higher on the priority list.

Rank: NewbieLikely was the site maintenance as mentioned..have had no problem since.
I don’t know how to install the web app. to chrome. If you have step by babystep instructions, maybe could also do that. Old timer here.

Rank: NewbieHey, we got a bunch of fixes and other things coming in the next patch. We will be adding News to the Individual Track Pages for that specific track. TipTweets should start working again with the next push. We have developed some features, and are working on packaging them. Not sure what will happen to them. Liam really would need to answer this. Not sure what he wants to disclose.
Thanks,

Rank: NewbieJust wondering, when the time comes, if you could post the TipTweets to the website. Not a big fan of the Twitter.

Rank: NewbieThat is coming. Hopefully in next patch. I implemented it awhile ago, its what broke the tip tweets. I got it running on Dev environment. So lets see if it works on the next version! When we release it, it will be published to “TipTweets” user.

Rank: NewbieMichael I see your display above with the Install E-Ponies Racing Picks. But it does not show up when I click the 3 little dots. What I see is the Find and under that where your words are is the More Tools option. I can’t figure out how to get it as it’s shown.

Rank: NewbieDo you have an “Add to Homescreen” Option? It is the option available to mobile users on Chrome. Then you should see the icon on the phone, and there should be an “Open E-Ponies” in the chrome settings.

Rank: NewbieNo I don’t see “Add to Homescreen” option on the menu .This is a desktop computer and not a mobile device. I don’t use a smartphone just a flip phone. My laptop doesn’t show it either.

Rank: Newbie15 Seconds is about average here and for me that’s getting t be too painful!(Top Complaint).
Scratches should be all that are scratched not 4 horses and should ALL be done with one click. (2nd Complaint). Takes too long. -

Rank: NewbieHey, the site was getting hammered due to a service. That is resolved. The import we have is too slow as well. I think I was able to speed things up. We had some downtime and I apologize for that. Seems an update isn’t doing us very well.

Rank: NewbieHey People,
We been getting pounded. It appears we’ve got a few fat plugins on the site, bringing us down. I been putting in a ton of hours trying to resolve it. Lets hope this solves it. I got a new version coming with more speed improvements, but right now we are just attempting to get through the Kentucky Derby. Since disabling the last plugin, things seem much faster now. I’m more optimistic. We may have to disable another one, we will see. Have a good track day and send some luck my way, I’ll be working on the problem and keeping an eye out all day.
Goodluck,
Michael

Rank: NewbieThe site issues was caused by a peace of code meant to reduce server response times. Unfortunately, the code worked great until this last patch at which time it started to impact us drastically. Since removing it, the server response times have rebounded. The nature of the issue we faced made it extremely hard to find. The site is now purring once more! I apologize for any impact on our users.

I just found out that I could reach the forum with Google Chrome.
Since yesterday whenever I tried to visit E-Ponies with Microsoft Edge I get this error message,
”
<center>
502 Bad Gateway
</center>
<hr />
<center>nginx”</center><center></center><center></center>

Rank: NewbieWe are aware of the issue. We believe it to be a browser cache issue.
Here is an entire website dedicated to teaching people how to clear it. Please try the instructions and let me know if it fixes the issue. Browsers are sometimes suborn. Ive tried the login on Chrome and its now working. We had an issue yesterday that had caused the 502 and now the browser just responds to that. I believe it may fix the issue.

Rank: NewbieI’m very jealous of you at times. Especially the day before the Kentucky Derby and a site goes down. Worse nightmare come true. Honestly, it is the most likely time to have problems. We are slowly learning and improving the new software. Hopefully, we can reduce or remove these issues.
