SANTA ANITA RACE 8 ANALYSIS FOR FRIDAY – 10/18/2019
RACE 8 – 5 ½ FURLONGS TURF – CLAIMING $25,000
5 – SWIRLING (3/1) drops from $40k to drop $25k. Her last try at this level she finished third and the race before vs. $20k was a win at 5 Furlongs. Gets apprentice Velez back.
2 – NO WINE UNTASTED (7/2) has gone gate to wire 4 times in her last 4 starts. Her fourth race back was at this class level down the hillside course at Santa Anita. Coming off a layoff since February but speed is always dangerous especially fresh speed.
