      Hay guys!
For a video version of the following blog-post, please click below:

Global Campaign looks like the one to beat Saturday! He’s your Peter Pan winner, and practically is undefeated! He only has one small blemish in the Fountain of Youth, so really, there isn’t anything bad that you can say about Global Campaign! He’s great at nearly setting the pace, usually starting from the second or third position, and then quickly taking over the lead and keeping it! Out of Curlin and being ridden again by regular rider Luis Saez, this horse should be ready to go in the Ohio Derby!

Nextie! Owendale was your Preakness third place finisher and Lexington Stakes winner and he closed both of those races very nicely. The only question with this one is distance. The Preakness is a slightly longer race than this one, it’s run at (almost) a mile and a fourth and all he could muster up was a third place finish. The Lexington he won very nicely but it was run at a mile and a sixteenth which is obviously shorter than a mile and an eighth. So I don’t know if he will be okay going this distance, but the Ohio Derby does have a smaller field than the Preak, so a lot less traffic to pick off. So we’ll see if he can come up Saturday, but I am placing him second for this one.

Lastie! Long Range Toddy’s last couple of races were a complete bust for him. But overall this horse has some great stalking power behind him, and he has quite the extensive resume with a lot of purse money in some huge races. So if he can just do what he does best and bring it right on time, he will be in this purse, no doubt!
