5 – FOCUS GROUP is in Chad Brown’s barn and his horses are always spotted for action. This one isn’t one of Brown’s top runners. Did finish third in G1 Northern Dancer at Woodbine at Today’s distance last time. Got up to win the G2 Pan American at this distance at Gulfstream March 30. Also ran third at Woodbine in the G1 Canadian International last October at today’s distance.
6 – POSTULATION qualifies for consideration off a second-place finish in the G3 Kentucky Turf Cup at Kentucky Downs and the G3 American St Leger at Arlington, both in 2017. He has hit the board in 4 of last 5 all at this distance in non-graded stakes.
