       KEENELAND RACE 4 ANALYSIS – WEDNESDAY 10/9/2019

      RACE 4 – 6 Furlongs Claiming 20,000

      4 – Dreaming Diamonds (4/1)

      9 – She Be Addie (5/1)

      11 – Socata (5/1)

      2 – Its Cold in Dehere (6/1)

      8 – Bold Esther (6/1)

      3 – Rogue Too (8/1)

Dreaming of Diamonds has a lot to like. First, she is a favorite dropping in class off an OK fifth vs. 30k claimers. Her third race back she raced for 20K at Churchill Downs and she led all the way but had to settle for second at 7 Furlongs. She cuts back to 6 Furlongs and won 3 straight races between Jan-Mar all on or forcing the pace on the Louisiana circuit. Expecting this filly to go straight for the lead and try and take them all the way.

Socata drops out of the same race as Dreaming of Diamonds finishing last beaten 22 but that was off a 9-month layoff. She won her prior start at Churchill for 30k and gets Leparoux back who won with her that day. She also will be forcing the pace from the git go.

Bold Esther is yet another likely to join the pace battle up front as she won gate to wire at Arlington for 20k at 6 Furlongs in her previous and just missed for the same tag on turf last time. In her lone race at Keeneland, she led a 40k claiming field all the way to the stretch, hanging on for second. She wired a 20k field at Arlington to break her maiden. One stat that’s hard to ignore is her trainers 36% going turf to dirt.
