He’s won four of the last five starts, and he’s looking to add another one! He finished fourth time before last in the Whitney, but had a very nice bounce back win last time out in the Woodward. This horse should be hanging around those leaders until it’s time to move, then he should capture the lead and find the Winners’ Circle! Junior Alvarado rides again for trainer Jimmy Jerkins!
Nextie! Code of Honor is also coming off two big wins, the Dwyer and Travers Stakes! But this horse is more of a closer, he’s come from as many as 10 down to get in the money. Last time out he came from 9 down to win. So he certainly has the power to sneak up on, and past, (presumably) Preservationist to snatch this vic.
Last! Tacitus is definitely the best of the rest in this one! Now, he can’t seem to find the Winners’ Circle as of late. In his last 3 starts he’s finished second. A couple of bumps might be in part to blame for not winning, but nevertheless, Tac might be in some trouble winning this one with Pres’ and Code of Honor in company. At any rate, he should easily be in the money for ya!
