The Remington Park Thoroughbred season begins Aug. 21 and features major races in the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby (G3) for 3-year-olds and the $300,000 Springboard Mile for 2-year-olds.
Entering Oct. 11 with 10,997 career wins, Hall of Fame trainer Steve Asmussen pulled off a hat trick at Remington Park to become the first North American trainer to win 11,000 races.
Due to technical difficulties beyond Remington Park's control, The Sept. 25 nine-race card was canceled.
The Jockeys' Guild has voted to impose disciplinary actions, including expulsions and suspensions, on jockeys who accepted mounts and competed Sept. 4-5 at Remington Park after the organization had called on riders to not accept mounts.
Without the ability to export its television signal to other venues, Remington Park cancels the final nine races Aug. 30.
