Woodbine Entertainment announced the E.P. Taylor Turf Course is scheduled to return to racing use Aug. 8—several weeks ahead of the original Sept. 1 reopening target.

Woodbine Entertainment, with approval from the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario and consultation from the Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association, has added a rescheduled race date for July 6 at Woodbine.

Woodbine announced July 2 that racing July 3 has been canceled because of ongoing underground infrastructure repairs. Contractors remain on-site working to resolve the issue.
