Mauro Lucas and Nathan McCauley hit a pinhooking home run at Keeneland's September Yearling Sale when they sold the top-priced filly (Hip 2597) of the Sept. 16 session for $535,000 to Winter Creek Stables. She was consigned by Taylor Made.
Hip 2266, a filly by Hill 'n' Dale Farm's Good Magic, and Hip 2302, a filly by Spendthrift Farm's Omaha Beach, were the co-highest priced fillies of the session at $400,000.
